Type in username and the assigned password. Layers The media library development environment consists of three different layers: - Preview - Construction layer (default) - Admin Central section They are accessible through the buttons located in the upper left corner of the page. Admin Central section Image Admin Central section Creating new Pages For creating new pages there are different kinds of templates in the Admin Central section. In order to create pages right-click on the respective Section (website -> versionEins -> Conferences -> HQ3) and select "New Page". For HQ3 the templates "(Sub-)Section" and "Article" are important. Doubleclick and select to change. It is also possible to delete and move the pages. The status (activate/deactivate) determines whether the page can be viewed from outside Magnolia. Creating Openers/Teasers If a section is created, previews of the containing articles (pages) can be shown. This is helpful for orientation. They show if wanted the the picture and the text in the header. New Content There are various options to construct and design an article page. Building in Pictures Choose between linking pictures from the document folder in the Admin Central Section or uploading from the local computer Add links To add links, select New Content -> Link List. Then add links through the now showing button. There are internal and external links for links in- and outside the media library. It is also possible to create download links for the immediate download of files. Headers Image Headers Including Audiofiles In order to include audiofiles it is necessary to upload them first into foxridge. Now they are accessible for further use. Click New Content-> MPIWG.flv Flash Film and type in the foxridge URL into the "Content from field". Use the image lautsprecher610x233.png which will be then shown in the article page and change the size to 610x253 under DMS App Video. Also give the file unique name.
